Re: On The Table:- Tabletop Gaming Thread
I love card games, board games, and I've always wanted to try tabletop RPGs.
Favorite card games: Kemps, ERS, Nerts, Slave, Apples to Apples.
Favorite board games: Monopoly, Risk.
Tabletop RPG ventures: Almost got into a Star Wars one with friends once, but it never materialized; I saw a Mario themed one online, looks fun.

Re: On The Table:- Tabletop Gaming Thread
I have played many Tabletop games in my time. My favorites range from Monopoly, to Memoir 44. I have a good memory when I played this one Roleplaying tabletop game called Descent. My one friends dad was playing as the game master but he didn't want to play for much longer so a friend of mine took over and just screwed everything up. Needless to say I ended up being the last one left and having to go though some hall with 3 golems or something. We all just gave up at that point.

Re: On The Table:- Tabletop Gaming Thread
Currently I am playing through a homebrew campaign online of Legends of Anglerre, which is quite fun, though a lot slower than I am used to.
Designing my character for it was really fun though!
Also, since I posted this thread on the old forum, I have got the Dawning Star d20 books (Dawning Star, Helios Rising and Shadow Falling) and got stuff at free RPG day which I think I mentioned last time.

I have a bunch of D&D 3rd Edition books including Forgotten Realms but I never really got a chance to use them I remember having fun at the D&D Worldwide Game Days though. I played Neverwinter Nights Diamond on my Mac, I' msure I have the discs still somewhere packed away. It was quite a fun game and I used to play with a friend of mine. Those were the good days.

Re: On The Table:- Tabletop Gaming Thread
Sorry to bump the thread like this, just thought I would talk about what happened at Static Games on Saturday.
I looked around at the books they had, and saw a couple I will pick up in the future (call of cthulhu: secrets of japan, a couple of out-of-print books by Guardians of Order and delta green). I also looked at some new dice (and accidentally knocked one tube over ;-;.. was so embarrassed!)
Was tempted to pick up Monopoly and Descent while I was there too XD.. so many things I wanted.. so little money..

I've seen that game (Arkham Horror) on The Dice Tower actually! It looked sort of fun to me, but oh my god.. all of those pieces would get so lost in my house.... [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fx9j3KdFAdM]
XD As for Hello Kitty Monopoly, I haven't seen that here... must buy

Re: On The Table:- Tabletop Gaming Thread
I play the three major card games (Pokemon, yu-gi-oh and magic) some more focused than others. Not much of a board game person myself.
